About Us

Cashell Donahoe Elementary School opened its doors on January 2, 1979. The Henrico school was built in the northern part of the Varina district. The school was named in honor of the late Cashell Donahoe. Mr. Donahoe served the youth of Henrico County for 18 of his 38 years in education. He was serving as the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction at the time of his death in 1974. He was an outstanding leader in his church and community.
