Instruction is Leveling Up!
Now that majority of our diagnostic screenings and assessments have taken place to start the school year, our teachers are able to dive deeper into instruction using their data. Teachers should reach out to you once per week via Parent Square with updates on the week for your student. Be sure to note what your child will be focusing on in class so that you can support them at home! All students should be reading at home every single night - even better when they are reading and discussing what they read (K-2) or writing about what they read (3-5).
Fall Festival is Coming Up!
Our PTO is working hard on getting the Fall Festival details finalized! If you or your business are interested in donating candy for the Trunk-or-Treat experience from 4pm to 5:30pm (or until supplies last), it can be dropped off in the Main Office.
The PTO is also on the lookout for additional vendors for this event and future events. If you have any questions, email donahoepto23@gmail.com
Haven't joined the PTO yet? It's $5.00 and ALL funds go back to your students and your school. Join today! Follow the PTO on Facebook at Donahoe Dolphins PTO.

Important Drop-Off Reminders
Please remember that we ask all student drop-offs to take place in the car loop. We have students who must walk to school, and they are required to cross Graves Rd. Cars stopping along Graves Rd. impacts traffic flow and causes a safety risk for yourself, your student, and others. The drop-off loop is very efficient and is a safe alternative to stopping along Graves Rd.
Supporting Donahoe While Cleaning Up!
Did you know that you can support our school just by dropping off your unwanted clothes, textiles, shoes, or inexpensive jewelry?
Donahoe receives $1 per pound of items donated in our Clothing to Cash bin in the parking lot! Acceptable items include clothes, curtains, sheets, bedding, fabrics, shoes, inexpensive jewelry that cannot be resold, towels, etc.
Be sure that your items are in a plastic bag that is TIED SHUT.

All families should have the Parent Square app or website! This is the primary means of communication from the school. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us. You can reach out to any of the following:
