As we look ahead to the new year, we’re excited to share a meaningful way our school community can make a difference together. During these times of uncertainty, one of our goals here at Donahoe is to uplift others through community service — and what better way to do that than with a wave of warmth from our Dolphin family?
Sock Drive Dates: January 9th – January 30th
We’re inviting all Donahoe families to help by donating new or gently used (freshly cleaned!) socks of all sizes. Fun, fuzzy, sporty, or simple — every pair helps keep someone warm this winter.
All donated socks will go directly to the Salvation Army.
Family Service Night: February 2nd, 5:30–6:30 PM
To celebrate the end of our drive, we’re hosting a Family Service Night right here at Donahoe! Students and parents are invited to:
Sort and pack donated socks
Create encouraging cards to go along with each pair
Spend time together “making waves” of kindness
This is a wonderful hands-on opportunity to show our students what compassion and community truly look like.
Let’s Make Waves of Warmth!
We’re sharing this now so families can begin collecting socks over the break and be ready once January 9th arrives. With your help, we know our Dolphins can make a huge impact this winter.
Thank you for helping us “Dolphin Dive Into Kindness!”
Let’s make this the warmest wave yet! ![]()
