Our 1st graders had so much fun visiting the Fairfield Public Library last week! We had a picnic lunch before a tour where we saw a play kitchen & tried the light wall. We sang, read, and played together, too. One first grader exclaimed, "This is the best day EVER!"

Last week, our inquisitive third graders took advantage of the beautiful Fall weather to explore living and nonliving things in the environment. Ask your students what they saw on their exploration -- or even try going for a scavenger hunt of your own. Let us know what you find!

We are thrilled to be one of the recipients of the Curtis & Co Read to Run program this Fall. Our fifth grade students kicked off their reading challenge today with stations where they received backpacks, t-shirts, & 2 free books. Students who read 2 books also get NEW SHOES!

Last week, we celebrated students who have missed ZERO days of school! Wow! Later this month, we will celebrate students who have missed 0-1 days of school. Students who consistently attend school become stronger readers, writers, & problem solvers. Attendance matters!
